Volunteer Fulton’s mission is to provide and produce
volunteer opportunities for Fulton County employees and
to promote volunteerism so that they can support
community wide efforts and programs. Our desire is to
connect every member of Fulton County to their ideal
volunteer opportunity, so that the Fulton County
Government is established as a leader in the nationwide
volunteer movement. We are all natural born volunteers!
Many of us offer our services without labeling ourselves
as volunteers. Don’t let the label discourage you from
doing what comes naturally. Serving others is one of the
great attributes of humankind. Remember, volunteering is
not limited to Volunteer Fulton activities; we are
always looking to add nonprofit agency partners. If you
are currently volunteering with an organization not
listed in our resource guide, please let us know.

Yes!
We all volunteer everyday in some way. Think about it. Have
you helped someone out today? Maybe you gave a hand to a
neighbor out in the yard, drove someone to the grocery
store, or perhaps you stopped by to visit someone in need of
company, watched a friends child for awhile, or perhaps
you’re the coach for a youth softball league or a
‘den-parent’ for a scout troop. The point is we all lend a
helping hand from time to time. Isn’t that what volunteering
is all about? Many of us offer our services without labeling
ourselves as volunteers. Don’t let the label shy you away
from what comes naturally. We are all born volunteers. It is
one of the great attributes of humankind. Most volunteer
organizations shout “GET INVOLVED!” Volunteer Fulton
realizes that you are already involved! We are here to help
you formalize your existing efforts and introduce you to
some alternative activities you may not have thought
existed. We want Fulton County employees to be aware of the
activities that are available within Fulton County
Government Departments.

to a Whole New World Volunteer Fulton serves as a
clearinghouse for a variety of volunteer opportunities and
special event projects throughout Fulton County and the
Metro Atlanta area. Projects are selected to benefit the
citizens and communities of Fulton County and are screened
for volunteer safety and risk management.
